About Jules
I came to yoga in my 40s, quite a late starter, really, for the same reasons many of us do - I was curious and stiff. I remember stretching, twisting, wobbling and sweating through my Hatha class, my breath struggling to find a clear path through the body. But when body and breath found their rhythm, my mind stilled and connected with a luminous and expansive conscience.
As the days, weeks and seasons passed, softening from winter to spring and summer to autumn, my love for the practice deepened; I figured if it feels so good to me....why not share it with others? I was lucky enough to be accepted to train at triyoga London, one of Europe's top teacher-training programmes, graduating in 2017 after two years of intense study in the fields of asana (posture), philosophy with Carlos Pomeda, anatomy, alignment and breath, all under the guidance of internationally acclaimed teachers Mimi Kuo-Deemer and Jeannie Hall.
I also trained with Tara Stiles and Mike Taylor in Berlin to become a Strala guide, and with Sifu Matthew Raymond Cohen in Qigong. I have attended workshops with Donna Farhi, Jason Crandell, Richard Rosen and Erich Schiffmann.
I am most drawn to the rhythmic flow of Vinyasa yoga, with attention to breath, sequencing and alignment - and this is what I teach.
I am fully insured, first-aid trained, and hold yoga accreditation from The British Wheel of Yoga and Yoga Alliance.
